European stock markets posted yet more gains on Friday, with London\'s FTSE 100 index of top companies closing 0.31 percent higher at 5,852.42 points. In Frankfurt, the DAX 30 added 0.64 percent, breaking above 7,000 points to 7,040.88, while in Paris the CAC 40 rose by 0.23 percent to 3,488.38 points in slightly more substantial trading.
