The gold price in Hong Kong moved up 38 Hong Kong dollars to close at 15,560 Hong Kong dollars per tael on Thursday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society. The price is equivalent to 1,685.34 US dollars a troy ounce, up 4.12 US dollars at the latest exchange rate of one US dollar against 7.75 Hong Kong dollars.
