Japanese shares declined Tuesday for the first time in two trading days with China-exposed issues and carmakers down amid growing tensions with the world\'s second-largest economy, according to DPA. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average lost 93.71 points, or 1.06 per cent, to end at 8,769.59 while the broader-based Topix index was down 9.45 points, or 1.28 per cent, at 727.68. On currency markets at 3 pm (0600 GMT), the dollar traded at 78.37-38 yen, little changed from Friday\'s 5 pm quote of 78.39-41 yen. The euro was quoted at 101.77-80 yen, down from 101.95-99 yen late Friday, and at 1.2986-2988 dollars, down from 1.3005-3007 dollars.
