The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower on Friday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 31.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.61 percent, to 5,117.5 dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 2 dollars, or 0.14 percent, to 1,477 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 22 dollars, or 1.28 percent, to 1,697 dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 17 dollars, or 0.99 percent, to 1,693 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 285 dollars, or 2.73 percent, to 10,140 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 187.5 dollars, or 1.25 percent, to 14,800 dollars a tonne.
