The Malaysian stock market ended lower here on Wednesday. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) was at 1,682.95, down 2. 94 points or 0.17 percent, and the Emas was at 11,445.26, down 13. 22 points or 0.12 percent. There were 368 gainers, 338 losers and 328 counters traded unchanged. Turnover increased to 1.49 billion shares valued at 1.70 billion ringgit Malaysia (562.73 million U.S. dollars), compared with 1.16 billion shares valued at 1.60 billion ringgit Malaysia ( 531.38 million U.S. dollars) on Tuesday.
