Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) on Thursday added 8.4 points, comprising a rise by 0.15 percent to close at 5736.51 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 5728.1 points.

    The trading value stood at Omani Riyal (RO) 4,081,042, comprising a rise by 52.2 percent compared to the last session, which stood at RO 2,681,697. The market value fell by 0.819 percent to reach about RO 17.21 billion, according to MSM report. 

    The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 552,000, comprising 13.54 percent. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 1,423,000 comprising 34.87 percent. The net non-Omani investment declined by 21.34 percent to RO 871,000.
