The Qatar Exchange was down on Tuesday 48.73 points or 0.57% to 8,445.61 points from the previous closing of 8,494.34. The volume of shares traded fell to 2,768,696 from 3,433,330 Monday, and the value of shares decreased to QR133,279,254.12 from QR162,621,019.07 Monday. Among the top losers were Barwa Real Estatee whose share dropped 1.93% to QR28.00, Qatar Navigation lost 1.55% to QR63.60, Al Kaleej Takaful fell 2.41% to QR44.50 and General Insurance down 7.63% to QR46.00. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 2.72 points while the Insurance sector dropped 5.26 points. The Qatar industrial sector down 21.43 points and the Services sector added 213.87 points.
