The volume of shares traded up to 14,810,171 from 7,591,772 on Monday, and the value of shares increased to QR618, 338,358.17 from QR283, 101,503.69 Monday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped by 4.09% to QR129.00, Gulf International lost 5.53% to QR24.75, Vodafone Qatar fell 3.28% to QR7.37 and United Dev. Company 3.25% to QR19.35. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 126.02 points while the Insurance sector fell 216.09 points. The Qatar industrial sector down 304.35 points and the Services sector dropped 104.24 points.
