The trading value this week QR 605,509,425.64, a decrease by 13.61% compared to QR 700,904,392.65 last week. The trading volume decreased by 7.30% to reach 12,063,863 shares, as against 13,014,333 shares, while the number of transactions rose by 3.24%, to reach 9,968 transactions as compared to 9,655 transactions. The market capitalization fell by 0.53% to reach QR 456,828,828,139.41 as compared to QR 459,269,863,354.88 at the end of previous week. From the 42 listed companies Nine ended this week higher while 29 fell and four remain unchanged. The Industries Qatar led traded value this week, accounted for 26.74% of the total traded value. The Qatar For Meat and Livestock Trading accounted for 12.69% and QNB ranked third accounted for 9.25%. The Industrials sector led traded value this week accounted for 35.81% of the total traded value. The Banks and Financial Services sector, which accounted for 32.47%. The Consumer Goods and Services sector ranked third, accounted for 17.38% and the Telecoms sector accounted 6.01%. Banks and Financial Services sector led trading volume this week, accounting for 34.45% of the total traded volume, followed by Industrials sector accounted for 22.30%. The Consumer Goods and Services sector ranked third, accounted for 19.37% and Real Estate sector accounted 8.45%. Banks and Financial Services sector led the number of transactions traded during this week with 30.08% of the total number of transactions. Industrials sector accounted for 27.98%. Consumer Goods and Services sector accounted for 19.84% and Telecoms sector accounted for 8.15%.
