Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index swung back into the green zone Tuesday, gaining 102.19 points (+0.87%) when the bourse closed trading at 11,833.83 points.
Indices of five sectors advanced and two dropped today.
The market capitalization increased to QR 637.96 Billion from QR 633.78 Billion registered Monday.
The traded value today jumped to QR 365.57 Million with a volume of 8,207,340 shares from 4,430 transactions compared to QR 200.26 Million with a volume of 6,152,173 shares from 3,744 transactions registered Monday.
Real estate index made most gains today, up +1.75% to 2,458.47 points followed by industries index up +1.13% to 3,954.39 points. Consumer goods and services index gained +0.85% (6,976.52 points), transport +0.75% (2,419.13 points), and banks and financial services +0.39% (3,176.52 points). Telecoms index dropped -0.50% to 1,325.09 points and insurance dipped slightly by -0.02% to 4,121.23 points.
QSE's Total Return index gained +0.87% (18,833.83 points), QSE Al Rayan Islamic index +1.26% (4,369.6 points) and QSE All Share index +0.75% (3,161.68 points) today. From the 43 listed companies on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading today. From these 27 advanced, 11 went down, and two remained unchanged.
