Korea Composite Stock Price Index

Seoul shares ended higher on Tuesday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) gained 8.26 points, or 0.42 percent, to settle at 1,986.41. Trading volume stood at 325.00 million shares worth 3.85 trillion won (3.38 billion U.S. dollars).

South Korea's currency finished at 1,140.2 won against the greenback, down 2.4 won from Monday's close.
