Singapore stocks finished higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 7.87 points, or 0.25 percent, to close at 3,191.80. A total of 2.19 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 946.6 million Singapore dollars (775.9 million U.S. dollars). Gainer outnumbered losers 310 to 136, while 512 others finished unchanged. The STI index gained 3.12 points, or 0.10 percent, to close at 3,183.93 on Thursday.
