The Tokyo stock market sank Tuesday as the yen rose and on concerns over prospects for the Greek bailout and the proposed new permanent bailout fund for the eurozone. The benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average dropped 61.99 points, or 0.70 per cent, to close at 8,807.38. The broader-based Topix index was down 5.08 points, or 0.69 per cent, at 732.26, according to a report of dpa.
