The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 119 yen range early Friday in Tokyo, almost unchanged from overnight levels in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 119.72-73 yen compared with 119.70-80 yen in New York and 119.38-40 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.1245-1245 dollars and 134.62-69 yen against 1.1261-1271 dollars and 134.82-92 yen in New York and 1.1366-1367 dollars and 135.69-73 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
