US Stocks Close Higher

New York Stocks.

U.S. stocks finished higher Thursday boosted by weak U.S. retail sales data. 
The S&P 500 gained 1% to 2,147.26. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 177.71 points, or 1%, to 18,212.48. 
The Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.5% to 5,249.69.
