A meeting took place Tuesday between Qalubia province officials and members from the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) to discuss developing three slums with a 13-million-euro grant from the EU.
The slums are selected due to population intensity, need for services and no infrastructure, Qalubia Governor Mohamad Abdel-Zaher said in statements Tuesday.
