His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin SalmanAl Khalifa chaired here today a work meeting devoted to the financial situation inthe kingdom, in light of the good results achieved by banks over the past period.HRH Premier called upon banks and financial institutions to support and funddevelopment projects in the kingdom.He directed the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) to discuss with banksthe best ways to address the stumbling projects due to lack of financial liquidity,and the possibility of providing them with the needed funds in order to be finalised.HRH Premier called for the need to stimulate investment and real estate transactions in the kingdom according to regulations that preserve the rights of all parties untilthe Legislative Branch issues the Real Estate Development law.He urged more facilities and incentives in order to attract capitals, foreign banks and investment firms, or their regional offices, and Islamic banks.
