The Head of State, who chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers "has instructed the Government to thoroughly prepare the draft public investment programme for 2015-2019, which, at the end of the 2010-2014 development plan, will define the financial resources necessary for the execution of the Government's Action Plan," said the Council of Ministers in a communiqué. The new five-year public investment programme, which aims at strengthening the resistance of Algerian economy to the impacts of the global financial crisis and developing competitive and diversified economy, will break with former methods. "The programme aims at building a productive and competitive economy in all the sectors," he said. In this regard, the Head of State underlined that the new programme must also boost local and human development.
