The Brazilian economy registered zero growth in the third quarter compared to the second and rose 2.1 percent on the same period in 2010, according to official figures released Tuesday. The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics said the economy had grown just 3.7 percent in the last 12 months, reflecting the global slowdown linked to the eurozone debt crisis.
