Seoul - Yonhap
Childbirths in South Korea increased for the first time in 14 months in February, but the growth rate was still weak, a government report showed Thursday. According to the report by Statistics Korea, the number of babies born in February came to about 37,000, up 0.8 percent or 300 from the same month a year earlier. This marked the first time that the figure has increased since December 2012.
