The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) estimated that economic losses, from the earthquake which his California on Sunday, could be up to USD 1 billion, reported the New York Times.

At least 120 people had been treated at the emergency room at Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, said a hospital spokeswoman. Most of the injuries were minor lacerations or abrasions caused by falling debris.
