Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil said Wednesday that the bilateral ties between Cairo and Paris have witnessed an intensive economic momentum and unprecedented development in various fields.
At a meeting of the Egyptian-French Business Council, Qabil said Egypt and France enjoyed a long historic cooperation which served the interests of the countries, adding the current visit by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Paris stressed both countries’ keenness on boosting the strategic partnership across the fields.
Several French giant companies, which were interested in the investment in the Egyptian market, took part in the meeting, especially those working in the fields of tourism, trade, infrastructure, railways, foods, and banking.
