France\'s industrial production slightly rose by 0.3 percent in January from a month earlier due to sharp fall in activities of coke and refined petroleum products, national statistics bureau Insee said Friday. Manufacturing output of the eurozone\'s second largest economy rose by 0.2 percent, which was helped by strong performance of computer, electronic and optical products whose production grew by 6.1 percent. Following the shutdown of Petit-Couronne refinery, output of coke and refined petroleum products dropped by 11.1 percent month on month, while car manufacturing fell by 1.5 percent as slowing economy overshadowed demand in morose markets.
