India\'s industrial output shrank 5.1 percent year-on-year in October, the first drop for more than two years, data showed Monday. The October figure, released by the federal statistics office, compared with 11.3 percent growth in the same month last year and came in the wake of a series of interest rate rises aimed at curbing inflation.
