Rwanda will host a world export forum in Kigali, the national capital, in September, with the mission to help small and medium enterprises access global markets, officials have announced. The World Export Development Forum, an annual event, is to be organized by the International Trade Centre, the joint agency of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the World Trade Organization. The forum will run from September 16-17. It will be the first time for the forum to be held in Africa. The forum will be attended by more than 400 people, including policy makers, business leaders, heads of trade support institutions and international organizations from around the world.
