The European Court of Human Rights on Tuesday cleared the Russian government of charges that it tried to deliberately destroy the defunct oil giant Yukos. "The Court finds that there has been no violation of Article 18 of the Convention....on account of the alleged disguised expropriation of the company's property and the alleged intentional destruction of the company itself," the Strasbourg-based court said in a ruling.
