Amanda Bynes

Amanda Bynes has been released from a clinic that had been keeping her on a psychiatric hold for the past two weeks and was spotted roaming around Los Angeles on Thursday evening.
Sources close to the situation told TMZ the former actress spoke to a hearing officer at the facility and asked to be released on Thursday. The officer agreed to Bynes' request given that she was lucid at the time and could not be held involuntarily, and reportedly ended the 30 day hold that had been granted in her case last week.
Insiders say that Bynes has been taking her medication and is lucid, but that doctors still believe she's mentally ill.
Later that day, the former actress was seen walking around Sunset Strip where she stopped at a diner and reportedly ordered a feast that included: fried chicken, salmon, caesar salad with guacamole, and a house salad with Italian and ranch.
Sources say Bynes was alone and shy while taking to waiters. She was reportedly heard talking to herself while at the diner. The celebrity gossip site claims Bynes had been looking for a hotel, but was turned down by several places.
Bynes was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold earlier this month after being accused of shoplifting in NYC and weeks after she was arrested for DUI in Los Angeles. The hold allowed for the actress to be monitored for the following 72 hours, but after further examination doctors decided to extend it for 14 days. Her parent have reportedly filed for a conservatorship and claimed in legal documents the former actress is a "substantial risk" to herself and others.
