Big Sean recently opened up about girlfriend Ariana Grande.
The 26-year-old rapper discussed the 21-year-old singer in an interview with Billboard magazine. Big Sean and Grande were first linked after they were spotted holding hands at the 2014 VMAs in August, and confirmed their relationship in September.
"She's super cool -- the coolest," he said of the star, who he first met at the KIIS-FM Wango Tango concert in 2012. "Ever since, we've been friendly, hung out once in a while, and it just evolved. I respect her -- so I don't think I should talk about it."
Big Sean and Grande dismissed breakup rumors in January by posting a photo of themselves on vacation in Lake Tahoe. The singer took to Instagram again this week to share a picture of herself with the rapper, and revealed he began serenading her at a restaurant.
Big Sean previously dated Glee actress Naya Rivera, but the couple broke off their engagement in April. Many assume the rapper's song "I Don't [Expletive] with You" is about the star, to which he said, "I want to write about what really happens, but I'm not a spiteful person," in the interview.
Big Sean last released Hall of Fame in August 2013, and will debut his third studio album, Dark Sky Paradise on February 24. Grande released her second record, My Everything, in August, and will kick off her Honeymoon Tour in Independence, Mo., on February 25.
