Billy Crystal has penned a script describing what he thinks Robin Williams' first night in Heaven was like.
The hilarious and touching work was posted in its entirety on EW.com Friday.
Perfectly capturing his late best friend's voice, Crystal puts Williams back on a nightclub stage before an appreciative crowd that includes historic figures such as Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, Albert Einstein, Anne Frank and Martin Luther King, Jr., as well as Williams' personal comedy icons Jonathan Winters, Johnny Carson, Lenny Bruce, George Carlin and Richard Pryor.
"Oh my, please stop hovering and sit down! Amazing, it's Woodstock with wings!" Williams says as the audience greets him with a standing ovation, then in a child's voice, adding, "I don't think I'm in Kansas anymore!"
Assuming John Wayne's distinctive drawl, Williams went on to tell his fans: "Well, Pilgrims, as the frontier gynecologist said to the pretty lady, 'You got a nice spread.'... Please don't be afraid."
The vignette ends with famed actor and musician Frank Sinatra saying of Williams, "Wow, that cat is something else, baby," before singing, "Start spreading the news..."
Williams, a beloved comedian and Oscar-winning actor, died by suicide last August after years of battling depression and substance abuse. He was 63.
