Los Angeles – UPI
Casey Kasem's wife Jean and his children have ended their Los Angeles legal battle regarding the ailing former radio star's welfare, People.com said Friday. "It's been resolved," Julie Kasem's attorney Andrew Katzenstein told the magazine. "We're glad the case was able to settle." Katzenstein told a judge Julie was withdrawing her request for legal control of her father's healthcare as part of a confidential visitation agreement. Kasem's three adult children had alleged their stepmother Jean, 59, had kept them from visiting Casey, 81, since last summer. Casey has advanced Parkinson's disease.
