Model Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend hired food trucks to deliver free food Sunday in New York City for people protesting the grand jury's decision not to indict police officers in the death of Eric Garner.
Neither Teigen nor Legend were in attendance at the protest, but their rep confirmed their involvement with the stunt after the model retweeted a message about the trucks.

Sunday's protest in the Big Apple marked the fifth day of civil unrest following a grand jury's decision on Dec. 3 not to indict the officers involved in the killing of an asthmatic man with a choke hold after police accused him of selling untaxed cigarettes on the streets of Staten Island in July.
Legend previously expressed his support to the ongoing protests on Dec. 4, retweeting a poem written for Eric Garner.
