Texas-born actor Christopher Evan Welch has died in Santa Monica, Calif., after a battle with lung cancer, his family said. He was 48. UsMagazine.com reported the former "Rubicon" co-star died Dec. 2, but his death was not announced until later. Welch appeared in New York stage productions of "London Assurance" and "A Streetcar Named Desire," and was a guest star on the TV shows "The Sopranos," "The Good Wife" and "The Practice." His film credits include "The Stepford Wives," "The Interpreter," "The Good Shepherd" and "Vicky Cristina Barcelona." UsMagazine.com said the actor is survived by his wife, Emma; their daughter, June; his parents; and two siblings.
