Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and girlfriend Lauren Hashian made a rare public appearance on Wednesday.
The couple attended the premiere of Johnson's new movie, Hercules, in Los Angeles. The event is the second time the pair have appeared together in public; Hashian accompanied the actor to the opening of G.I. Joe: Retaliation in 2013.
Johnson and Hashian reportedly met while he was filming the 2007 film The Game Plan. Some speculate the relationship contributed to the actor's divorce from wife Dany Garcia in 2008, although the two said the split was amicable at the time of their separation. Johnson and Garcia have a 12-year-old daughter, Simone Alexandra, and the breakup sent the star into a deep depression.
"Once I manned up and became accountable for the mess I was in, that's when it all hit me," he told The Hollywood Reporter in June. "What kind of dad does this make me? What kind of man will I now become? Failing at marriage and as a husband was a heavy thing."
Johnson stars as the title character in Hercules, and was all smiles with Hashian at the premiere. The movie opens in theaters on July 25, and the actor will appear in Fast & Furious 7 next year.
