Eva Longoria discussed her education and beau Jose Antonio Baston in a new interview with Ellen Degeneres. The 39-year-old Desperate Housewives actress appeared on Ellen Monday and laughed about her new status as Woman of the Year. Maxim magazine bestowed the title upon Longoria in their January/February issue. The actress discussed her master's degree in the issue, and touched upon the topic in her interview with Ellen. Longoria earned her master's in Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge while she was still involved with Desperate Housewives. "When I was shooting Desperate Housewives, I would go to night school," the star recalls. "I'd be on set all day and then I'd be in full hair and makeup running to class." Longoria's schedule is less hectic these days, but she keeps busy with her role as producer on Devious Maids and her relationship with businessman Joe Antonio Baston. "He's very private," the actress says of her beau. "I'm very happy. He's a very good dresser.  I have to always step it up now. It's exhausting!The couple split their time between Longoria's residence in California and Baston's in Mexico. The actress will next appear alongside Michael Peña in the movie Frontera.
