The 22-year-old grandson of late screen icon Clark Gable was arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly pointing a laser at a police helicopter, officials said. The Los Angeles Times reported Clark Gable III was arrested late Thursday night and charged with a felony count of discharging a laser. He is to remain in jail until someone posts $60,000 bail for him, the Times said Friday. The elder Gable starred in the film classics \"It Happened One Night,\" \"Gone with the Wind\" and \"The Misfits.\" He died in 1960 after a heart attack. He was 59. His grandson previously made headlines in 2009 when he was stabbed at a party.
