A video featuring actor Samuel L. Jackson urging voters to "Wake the [Expletive] Up" and re-elect U.S. President Barack Obama was posted online Thursday. The F bomb-filled clip is a riff on Jackson's "Go the [Expletive] to Sleep" video for which the "Pulp Fiction," "Jackie Brown" and "Iron Man" star puts his own spin on the traditional bedtime story. The new politics-themed clip runs about 4 minutes and can be viewed on YouTube. The New York Post said Jackson teamed up with the Jewish Council for Research and Education -- a liberal super PAC funded largely by billionaire George Soros' son, Alexander -- for the humorous call to action, which lists the many reasons Jackson thinks Obama should be re-elected over Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney. "Sorry my friend, but there's no time to snore, the out-of-touch millionaires just declared war; on schools, the environment, unions, fair pay," Jackson said to a little girl's parents in the ad. "We're all on our own if Romney has his way. He's against safety nets. If you fall, tough luck. So I strongly suggest you wake the [expletive] up!" The campaign video was written by Adam Mansbach, the author of "Go the [Expletive] to Sleep," the Post said.
