A jet carrying the rock bands Ratt and Dokken returned to the Moline, Ill., airport Saturday after smoke was smelled in the cockpit, band members said. VintageVinylNews.com reported the private aircraft had reached 7,000 feet after taking off in Moline when the pilots detected the smell of smoke and immediately flew the plane back to the airport. The music industry news website said sources said no smoke was detected in the passenger cabin where 13 people were riding. \"Ratt and Dokken just made an emergency landing after a fire in the cockpit. We are ok!\" Ratt posted on its official Facebook page. The bands wound up driving to Wauconda, Ill., for an outdoor show Saturday night. \"On the way to Wauconda. The tour rolls on. Rockin the Farm,\" Ratt posted on its website.
