Young adult author Ned Vizzini has committed suicide in New York, officials said. He was 32. The Los Angeles Times confirmed the writer's Thursday death with the New York City medical examiner's office. The exact cause of his death was not disclosed. Vizzini's books include "It's Kind of a Funny Story," "Be More Chill," "Teen Angst? Naah," "The Other Normals" and "House of Secrets." Vizzini was also writing scripts for the upcoming television series "Believe," created by J.J. Abrams and Alfonso Cuaron. The author is survived by his wife, Sabra, and a son, the Times said.
