Oscar-winning actress and mother of four Nicole Kidman

Oscar-winning actress and mother of four Nicole Kidman read a Paddington Bear tale to children and guests at the Barnes & Noble in Brentwood, Tenn.
"If I wasn't an actress, I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. Dreams do come true," Kidman told the story-hour crowd of 150 kids and parents Thursday.
Kidman lives in the state with her husband, country music star Keith Urban, and their two young daughters. The actress also has an adult son and daughter with her ex-husband, actor Tom Cruise.
The reading was to promote the opening of her film Paddington in U.S. theaters Jan. 16. Michael Bond's book will be read in Barnes & Nobles stores across the United States Saturday.
Directed by Paul King, the live-action and animated hybrid movie stars Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Jim Broadbent, Julie Walters and Peter Capaldi. Ben Whishaw provides the voice of Paddington, a bear from Peru who is taken in by a British family after he is discovered in London's Paddington train station.
