Nicole Kidman's father Dr. Anthony Kidman died Friday after enduring a fall while on vacation.
A rep for the actress confirmed the news to several Australian news publications, according to People magazine, adding that Anthony was visiting Kidman's sister, Antonia Kidman, in Singapore when the incident happened.
Local police announced Anthony was pronounced dead before 9:45 a.m. at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He was in his 80s.
Anthony was a clinical psychologist at the Royal North Shore Hospital and a director of health psychology at the University of Technology Sydney. He and Kidman's mother, Janelle, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in January.
Kidman last attended a public event with her father in June, when he was her escort on the red carpet for the Swisse Celebrate Life Ball in Melbourne.
