British comedian Russell Brand paid $2.224 million to restore a 1926 home in Los Angeles designed by architect Roy Selden Price. The traditional-style house, located in Hollywood Hills West, has 4,800 square feet of interior space that features five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, an office, and a home theater, the Los Angeles Times reported. The Movieland Directory lists the home as an early 1930s home of acting great Laurence Olivier.
