Ted Danson has joked he is \"a repressed butler\" at heart. The actor claims that he constantly looks after his family, so much so that they forget he has another profession. The CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star loves British TV series Downton Abbey and has explained why he would play a loyal servant rather than aristocracy if he was part of the historical drama. \"I\'m a huge fan! I was heartbroken when it was over. [If I was on the show I\'d be] Definitely downstairs though. Because I am a butler in life, I really am a repressed butler. I butler for my family, that\'s what I do,\" he told British TV show Daybreak. Ted also spoke about becoming a grandparent. The 64-year-old has adjusted to the thought of being a grandfather, but is surprised that he now has to ask his children if he is allowed to do things. \"My wife\'s daughter Lily just gave birth to Clementine. The only surprising thing [about becoming a grandfather] was that our seat on the bus kind of moved back a few rows. All of a sudden we had to ask permission from our kids to be doing something, you know, \'Can we come over?\' and they\'d be like \'Not right now, it\'s not a good time\'. How can you say that?\" he joked.
