Boston - UPI
Actor-producer Mark Wahlberg is working on getting his high-school diploma, the headmaster of Boston\'s Snowden International High School in Copley Square said. The 41-year-old star of \"Boogie Nights,\" \"The Fighter\" and \"Ted\" dropped out of what was then known as Copley Square High School when he was a freshman. He would have graduated in 1988 if he had stayed in school. Snowden headmaster Kerry Tondorf told The Boston Globe he sent Wahlberg a letter three weeks ago telling him about an online credit-recovery program offered at his former high school. \"He called me the next day, and he seemed very excited and serious about the opportunity,\" Tondorf said, adding Wahlberg has since enrolled in his first class and has credentials to sign in online. \"It\'s one of those things where I said, \'I am going to make it happen,\'\" Wahlberg said during an interview on \"Late Show with David Letterman\" this month.
