Wiz Khalifa

Wiz Khalifa wants to shake his stoner image.
The 27-year-old rapper said as much in an interview with Hard Knock TV on Wednesday. Khalifa may be known for such songs as "So High," but he told host Nick Huff Barili he would like to move past "the stigma" of being "a weed head."
"I kinda want to break the stigma of like, everything I do is like, a stoner this or a weed head that," he declared. "Which is cool, you know what I mean, because that's what I built my marketing off of and my brand. At the end of the day, like, everybody who, you know, is successful in film or music gets high, so they don't look at them as the stoner."
"When I get past that point, then I think I'll make more movies," he shared. "Do different things so to people it doesn't look forced or I'm trying to change lanes or gears, it'll just be people ready for me to do that anyway."
Khalifa released his fifth studio album, Blacc Hollywood, on August 18. The record cover features the rapper exhaling smoke, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Khalifa is currently in the midst of a divorce from wife Amber Rose.
