The United Nations (UN) mission in Mali announced that four persons were killed in two separate attacks during the operations of the international troops in northern Gao city.

Missile and mortar shells targeted the UN mission leaving four persons dead including a member of the forces, while 12 persons wounded including civilians, the BBC reported on Wednesday.
