A security operation on Saturday by the Pakistani security forces killed eight militants in Orakzai tribal Agency of northern Pakistan bordering Afghanistan. According to the security officials, eight militants were killed and three hideouts were destroyed during the operation in Qismat Tanga and Sheen Qamar areas of Upper Orakzai. Orakzai agency is one of the seven tribal agencies that have been administered Federally and facing security prolems due to the presence of militants in the area. Moreover, a tribal leader, Haider Khan, was killed in his house by some unknown miscreants at Sanober area of Khyber Agency, local media reported. Unknown militants entered into his house and opened fire on him killing the tribe leader on the spot.
