At least four people were killed in a drone attack in Miransahah area of North Waziristan in Pakistan.
A US drone attack targeting a militant compound near Miranshah Bazar killed four people and wounded two others on early Thursday morning, Pakistan's (Dunya) News reported.
In the second drone strike in about 24 hours, two missiles hit the compound located in Miranshah in North Waziristan near the Afghan border.
"A US drone fired two missiles at a compound used by militants in Miranshah and four militants have been killed," an official said.
The strike and death toll were confirmed by intelligence sources. Panic and fear gripped the area after the attack and unmanned US spy plane kept flying in the area for some time.
It followed a drone strike on Wednesday on a compound in Tappi, ten kilometres about (six miles) southeast of Miranshah, which security officials said killed ten insurgents.
