Six soldiers of the Libyan Special Forces known as “Saaqa" were injured in clashes with terrorist organizations in Ganfouda district in western Benghazi city.
The clashes claimed the lives of three terrorists.
In statements on Monday, Spokesman of Saaqa forces Colonel Melwad al-Zuwei said the troops took control of new positions located between two villages in Ganfouda district in western Benghazi.
He said the troops attacked the terrorist locations from the southern side of the district and controlled it after violent clashes with the terrorists.
He noted that the troops are cautiously advancing as a number of stranded civilians and abducted military police are detained by the terrorist organizations which have set up mine fields and explosive devices to stop the advance of the Saaqa troops in the district.
