The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that 10 pro-government forces were killed in a car bomb blast on the outskirts of the eastern city of Deir Ezzor, Alhurra news reported Wednesday.
The London-based observatory said that fierce clashes flared up in areas that are still under the control of Daesh terrorist group in Deir Ezzor.
Syrian forces have recently announced that they retook Mayadin town in eastern Syria from Daesh militants.
