One person was killed, while two others were wounded when an explosive charge went off in western Baghdad, the Iraqi Media News Agency reported on Saturday.

The explosive charge was placed by the side of the road in al Sakalat area in western Baghdad, the agency quoted an Iraqi security source as saying.
